Elijah, of his real name Stephen ELIZA, born on the 02nd November, began singing at the age of 17 in youth cultural events in Seychelles.
In 1997, he set up a trio under the name of Ragga Blastaz. This gave Elijah an opportunity to show his qualities as leader of scene by leading young Seychellois to dance on the rhythms of reggae, ragga, RandB, Soukouss and Kanmtoragg.

Elijah started his solo career in 2000. He pierced the local music scene and became the idol of youth. The originality of its music is the the Comtoragg, a fusion he created of local traditional music (Kamtole, sega, Meng) and international reggae.
He formed a group of musicians the Warrior Band who accompanied him in the local and international concerts.

Elijah represented Seychelles at the four corners of the world: UK, Rodrigues, the 2nd Pan-African Festival of Algiers and the Francophonie Games in Beirut in 2009. Since then, his artistic projects are connected. In 2012, Elijah made a tour in Mauritius, released the album SEDEV. His song Alphabetical Love, discovered by Wagram Music in Paris, was the Top Chart in Réunion and France on the end of 2012 early 2013.


The years 2013 and 2014 are two bubbling years marked by different artistic collaborations. "A single 'Petsiro' with Malkijah, a singer reggae dance hall from La Reunion, then later a solo album 'Annihilator', nationals tours, tours in Rodrigues and Maurice then the grand spectacle musical show 100% Seychelles with 7000 entries. After 2014, Elijah kept on building the hype momentum with 2 more albums- Diadem in 2015 and The Heartist 2017 which was well-known in Seychelles, his home country.

2018 was the year were he reached another big milestone when he topped the charts around the Indian Ocean with the hit summer song named 'Coco', featured on an album named 'Tanpet'; which Elijah was in collaboration with JH Records and Otentik Groove band from Mauritius. The song also gave Elijah a contract deal with Scorpio Records In France later in 2019. With that, the song 'Coco' made Elijah reached his biggest career achievement when the video clip for this song was featured on Trace Tropical- his very first video on this video music platform.
